Lions Richlands Football Club is very excited to announce construction of their Clubs renovation commencing mid August 2016.
A $12 million renovation will see the Club have the majority of it's internal layout completely renovated, with new added areas and additional car parking.
With a major focus on increasing the Club's car park facilities and an additional 74 car spaces on a second level, this now provides 110 fully undercover car spaces keeping member's cars out of the elements. The club will at the end of stage one have 434 car spaces in total.
The new entry is of a grand scale, coupled with high quality finishes to give the overall impression of arriving a majestic hotel that might otherwise be found in Macau, or perhaps Las Vegas. The extensive water landscape, majestic Lion, standing over 4 metres high, and media façade are designed to create a forecourt alive with colour and movement. The new restaurant and terrace have been designed to embrace the main sports fields, with a relaxed vibe and plenty of natural light.
High quality finishes and lighting have been specified throughout to create a unique experience for members and guests alike.
An exciting brand new Sports Bar is also being added on to the front of the club that will be a certain destination venue for all sporting fanatics. The jewel in the crown of the new Sports Bar is a 13 metre screen taking centre stage that has the ability to show up to 12 different channels at once, or combine all screens into one massive picture. It will be the next best thing if you can't make it to where the game is being played live.
The restaurant will get not only a completely new look, it is also being relocated in a whole new section. The restaurant will move to the other side of the club, looking out over the main football field, be upgraded in size and there will be an additional 80 seats added to cope with the masses of the diners frequenting the club on a daily basis.
Adding to the restaurant will be an outside deck running the entire length of the field over looking the field giving members the option for alfresco dining day or night.
The new café is encapsulated by a large scale interpretation of a goal net formed in timber and lighting to create a unique experience at the centre of the new club.
The Gaming room will be increased from 210 to 250 machines and extend into the current restaurant location. A small KENO lounge will be added next to the gaming lounge for additional seating and break out areas.
Stage One is scheduled to be complete mid June 2017.
General Manager Justin Hall, the entire Football Board, players, staff and members are all very excited for the clubs future and wish to thank the members of the club for making all of this possible.
Justin Hall also wanted to add a special thank you to all members, guests and visitors for their patience during construction and highighted that we will have all updates of the construction posted on the Lions Richlands Facebook page.
